There isn't one. You pay 20% to eXp until you hit the $16,000 annual cap. After that, you keep 100% minus a small $250/transaction fee (capped at $5,000/yr). No desk fees. No franchise fees. No hidden costs.

What about desk fees and monthly costs?
eXp's total monthly cost is $85. That's it. That $85 covers access to three enterprise CRM platforms (BoldTrail, Lofty, or Cloze — each worth $200–$500/mo standalone), Slack and eXp's built-in collaboration platform, eXp University training, and the full cloud-based brokerage infrastructure. There are no desk fees, no franchise fees, and no office lease. Your first month is $149 (includes the standard $85 tech fee plus a one-time $64 setup). After that: $85/mo flat. No surprises at closing.
How does revenue sharing work?
When an agent you sponsor closes a deal, eXp pays you a percentage of their gross commission — out of eXp's take, not theirs. You're not taking money from your downline. The structure goes 7 tiers deep under eXp's eXponential Share 2.0 program. Tier 1 agents you personally sponsor pay the most (17.5% of their GCI to you, up to limits). Tiers 2–7 are agents your agents recruit — you earn on all of them. With AgentMagnet, we build that first tier for you using AI outreach. You don't need to recruit anyone manually to start earning passive income.
Is this calculator accurate?
It's built on eXp's published commission structure: 80/20 split, $16,000 annual cap, $250/transaction fee post-cap (capped at $5,000/yr), and $85/mo tech fee. Your current brokerage numbers come from what you enter — so the accuracy depends on your inputs. One caveat: we use average market assumptions for transaction count if you don't enter one. For the most precise comparison, use your actual GCI, split, monthly fees, and current cap.
